I would like to wish all my Muslim friends a blessed Ramadhan and happy fasting. It's time to give our stomach a break don't you think?
So tell me, what do you usually have for sahur? And what's your favourite food for iftar? :D
I can't eat much for sahur. Usually I'd have a mug of milo, some dates and toasted whole wheat bread with peanut butter and sometimes when I'm
lazy sleepy I just dunk plain bread in a mug of hot milo. I can't have rice or heavier meals. The more I eat, I hungrier I'd become the next day. So I eat less for sahur.
As for iftar, what I would really love to have ayam perchik (marinated grilled chicken) or grilled fish (the one with lots of bones)...damn I can't remember what it's called. Errm...terubok? I think :P And nasi ulam (herbal rice). Yuuummss! But unfortunately, it's not easy to get, unless I'm at my mom's. She makes the best nasi ulam. Nasi ulam is white rice with lots of herbs...7 if I'm not mistaken and also other stuff. Oh yesh!
Okay, I'm going to bed now :P *yawn*
