Hubby's 36th Birthday!

My significant other half is now 36. Wow! When I met him he was only 17. We celebrated his 18th birthday at Sunway Lagoon. He got me a watch (It wasn't my birthday but he loves buying me stuff.) I bought him a B.U.M Equipment vest as a gift. Life was so simple back then. No worries in the world.
Now we are both busy with our own stuff. That's why, we need that occasional vacay or mini vacay sans the boys. Because when we are together, we behave like teenagers (minus the foolishness). Hehe!

Cancer: June 21 ~ July 22

The Cancer man is a family man. He is gentle, considerate and sympathetic.
Amongst all the other zodiac signs, he is the most homely in nature and his love for his children is intense. These men can't stay away from home for a long time. Blood ties are the most important to them. They always remember what people do for them and try their best to return the gesture. Being a water sign, they are moody. If they take someone for a date, they will try their best to make this date as beautiful as possible, preferably cooking the food themselves.

So true!

ZALORA

Whoohooo! I've just received the items I ordered online a few minutes ago.
This is my first time buying something from Zalora. Well, my first time buying clothes online.
I've seen Zalora's advertisement banner on FB but I've never clicked on it. I don't know why.
But when my hubby told me that his ex-colleague is working for Zalora and he told me about the free delivery, the 30 days free return, etc. *convinced* I reached for my iPad and I googled Zalora.
I got even more excited when I saw RM20 voucher upon signing up (if you purchase above RM80).
Pretty cool huh?

Only takes 2 to 3 working days.

Tadaaaa!

You need this slip if you wish to return.
I'm happy with mine :D

I can wear this with my skinny jeans.

My new swimwear.
I can never get enough of swimwear. I've loads of it. :P

P/S: I'm not getting paid for this. I just wanted to share.

Welcome home macbook

Alhamdulillah, syukur my macbook has been repaired. It's working fine now. I'll take extra good care if it. It's like a wakeup call for me. I should not take things for granted. As much as I blamed my boys for dropping it but at the same time I blame myself for asking my son to get my bag for me. Anyways, just glad it's home. :D

My macbook :(

I'm so mad and upset right now. Last night I told my eldest son to take my handbag on a table and my youngest son out of nowhere jumped on my eldest son. My eldest accidentally tugged my bag and my macbook that was beside my bag dropped onto the hard tiled floor about 2 1/2 feet fall. Aaaarghhh! I'm sooo upset and pissed. My eldest cried and my youngest had that guilty look. Geram!! I send them both to bed. No tv, no snacks after dinner. Just straight to bed. Arrgggh!! I hope the Apple clinic is able to fix it. It's my baby. My precious.
I left my macbook on sleep mode. After the fall, I can't turn it on. It's just blank screen.
Blogging via iPhone and iPad is not the same :( I really hope they are able to fix my baby..

Father's Day!

Our weekend came and gone in a blink of an eye. We were pretty busy. Saturday we attended a wedding in Bukit Jalil and celebrated Father's Day at my in laws and Sunday we had lunch with my parents in PJ. It was nice and sweet.

The mug my boys bought for their daddy. hehehe! Quite true.

Father's Day outing

with our father.
One of my sister couldn't make it, so just 3 daughters.

my father and I.

(on another note)
I saw a few postings on FB about Father's Day. Muslims should not celebrate Father's Day...blah blah blah. For goodness sake people! Stop being so paranoid. Setengah tu cakap banyak, padahal dia tak jumpa pun mak bapak sendiri. We visit out parents every weekend without fail. Only it's a lil special on Mother's Day and Father's Day. It's not that we celebrate by drinking alcohol. LOL! We are not stupid. To me, I believe in Islam and no one can take it away from me. My believe is strong nothing can shake my belief and faith. I may not wear a hijab, purdah, burqa, etc but I pray when it's time to pray, just like any other Muslim. Don't judge me. You do not know me. If don't cover up, that's my sin...between myself and my creator. SO chill lah ya..

The Chateau, Spa and Organic Wellness Resort

Recently hubby and I went on a short vacay. Yup, just the two of us. In the beginning we wanted to visit islands off Terengganu and do some snorkeling there but since it's a school holiday we can't get the flight that suits our time. Then we thought of driving to Kuantan. But there's nothing to do in Kuantan. I know I'd miss the boys when I'm at the pool or beach and I see kids playing. Both our boys, love building sandcastles by the beach. Hubby told me to book Pangkor Laut because it's less crowded there hence less kids. But again, there's nothing to do there. I want fun and I want adventure. It took me weeks searching for that special place. That's my job lah. I search, book and hubby pays. LOL!
I stumbled upon The Chateau, while I was looking at Colmar Tropicale. We've been to Colmar in 2001 (shortly after we got married). But sadly I read so many bad reviews about Colmar on Tripadvisor. It was a nice small French village in Bukit Tinggi (11 years ago). I guess they didn't maintain the hotel. Typical lah right?
So I was curious about The Chateau. It's obviously pricier than Colmar. But we don't mind paying a little more if the place is nice and the service is good. There wasn't any bad review about The Chateau. That got me interested. I got even more interested when I read that it's only for guests 18 years and above. :D At least we won't have to feel guilty leaving the boys.  And, it's near. Just 1 1/2 hours drive from home. So yeah, The Chateau it is :)

When we arrived, the receptionist (a French lady) came to greet us at the car park. We left our luggage with the bell boy and walked with her to the resort lobby. We were led into a vip room where they served us organic passion fruit drink. Hubby and I made eye contact and raised our eyebrows like 'WOW'. It wasn't what we expected. Rasa macam OKB pulak. Hehehe! Usually we'd check in at the front office, but at The Chateau, they came to us. Damn good service! We are so impressed.

Our room was cozy and nice. Everything is organic. Well, almost. The bedsheets, the pillow cases, the duvet, the napkins, towels, handsoap, shampoo, etc. The shower cap and boxes are all biodegradable material. We explored the hotel and then we drove to The Japanese Garden. The Japanese Garden is not that well kept. It looks a lil bit old. On our way back to our resort we drop by Adventure Park. Hubby wanted me to try flying fox. I'm not afraid of heights but I hate the feeling of adrenaline rush. I've low blood pressure, I get motion-sickness easily. I've always wanted to try wall climbing but the one in One Utama mall (Camp5) , is always fully booked. So guess what? We tried wall climbing :D It was fun. It's pretty hard in the beginning but overall it's fun. You just have to focus and don't look down. :P

We simply love the breezy cool highland climate. It's so fresh. It's so nice, I kept thinking we are far away from home. The view is breathtaking. Amazing gradient hills. Okay, I'm gonna stop talking now and let the pics do the rest of the talking.

National Science Centre

My boys are with me 24/7 now because it's a school holiday. Before school holiday started I was busy preparing them for their exams and now I'm busy because school holiday has started and they are stuck with me. It's 2:00am right now, I've just finished working out. I can't shower yet since I'm drenched in sweat so why not blog right? The truth is, I'm feeling pretty sleepy but I know I won't have the time to blog tomorrow because the boys will be awake, they'll get into their perpetual motion early in the morning and I won't be in the mood to blog with contant noise in the background. It's so peaceful and quiet right now. Aaahh..love it :)

We are not taking them anywhere during this 2 weeks break. We'll plan for a vacation when it's not a school holiday and guess what..our boys would have to skip school (again). LOL! It's just that we prefer crowd-less or less crowded vacay. Unless we leave the country but that's gonna cost us a lot of cash. So yeah as for now, we shall explore our own backyard. BUT, hubby and I are planning to get away next week...(a short spa vacay) just us sans the boys. Somewhere kids are not welcome.

So yesterday morning I took my boys to National Science Center. Actually my eldest son wanted to go to Petrosains but eerr...his mommy is clueless when it comes to KL roads. Yeah I know...shame on me but hey, I'm a PJ gal.
Well, we have been to Petrosains more than 3 times already. It's the same thing.
We've been to Science Centre a couple of times too but not recently.

Hehehe! I still remember when my eldest son was 6, he had a school trip to Pusat Sains Negara (National Science Centre). We seldom speak in Malay language (Bahasa Malaysia) at home so he doesn't really know BM.
(I'll explain in my next blog why we communicate in English).
So one day he got home all excited about his school field trip. He wanted to tell me about it. He said "mommy, next week I have a field trip to....*he paused* to belly button science something". I was like huh? Until I saw a letter from his school in his school bag. It was written field trip to Pusat Sains Negara. (Pusat = belly button) I laughed so hard. My hubby thought I've gone bonkers. 'Pusat' in this context means centre and not pusat as in belly button. LOL!

Anyways, currently there's a Dino Exhibition in the National Science Centre. Pretty cool. Today it was a lil crowded. Not sure about other days. It is after all a school holiday. So go early in the morning to avoid large crowd. National Science Centre opens at 9am and closes on every Friday.

Okay I'm getting too sleepy to write now. Gonna take a shower and Zzzz...zzz..zz. Drying my long hair alone takes about 1/2 hour. Sigh.
I'm waking up early tomorrow morning because my boys wants to swim with their cousins. I better get some sleep!

how babies are formed in the womb

are you strong enough to carry yourself?

C'mon you can do it!

Hmmm...well, at least they got some of the parts right.
